According to the leader of the populist right-wing political party Alternative for Germany (AfD), Alice Weidel, Germany may decide to leave the European Union.
Weidel is not opposed to putting the decision in the hands of German voters if the party is put into power. If the departure vote is successful, it would deal a massive blow to the European Union’s Globo-choke hold on the European throat and would be another indication that the people of the world are waking up to the globalist seizure of liberty and sovereignty.
Weidel has maintained that Britain was correct to leave the European Union in January of 2020. This assertion is notably heavy because Germany has the largest economy in Europe.
The AfD considers the EU a ‘failed project’ and aims to render all EU proclamations meaningless.
The EU’s migrant resettlement program, which is a key promoter for illegal immigration into western and European countries, along with its impoverishing climate change policies would be some of the first on the chopping block. Additionally, the AfD opposes both the military reliance on the United States and the fossil fuel embargo on the Russian Federation.
The party has a sturdy, enthusiastic sense of German patriotism and national sovereignty.
The AfD is currently the country’s second-most popular political party (Christian Democrats are first) according to recent polling data. AfD is an astounding eight points ahead of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’ Social Democrats.
Alternative for Germany emphasizes protecting national sovereignty, Western identity, and German culture while seeking to re-establish a “peaceful, democratic and sovereign nation-state of the German people.”
The truth of the matter is, Germany is in a crisis. With immigration completely out of control, its economy in near collapse, and those pesky farmers protesting tax rises and subsidy cuts en masse, the country is at a decision point. The popularity of Chancellor Scholz’ coalition government is weakening, and the situation presents a wide-open opportunity for a right-wing majority government to cruise in and pass common sense, Germany First policy reform.
The AfD website states “we want to be and remain German. We want to preserve the dignity of the human being, the family with children, our Western Christian culture, our language and tradition in a peaceful, democratic and sovereign nation-state of the German people in the long term.”
Certainly, the world is closely watching Germany.
