Trump Dominating
WASHINGTON, Oct 25 (The Real Republic) – Ahead of the November 5 presidential election, Republican Donald Trump has nearly closed the gap with Hispanic men, significantly reducing the Democrats’ historical advantage in this demographic. An analysis of Reuters/Ipsos polling indicates Trump now trails Democrat Kamala Harris by just 2 percentage points among Hispanic men, with support at 44% for Trump and 46% for Harris. This contrasts sharply with his 19-point deficit against Democrat Joe Biden at the same time in 2020.

Trump has criticized the Biden administration for its open border policies, something the American people see as a critical issue in the election.
Historically, Hispanic voters have leaned Democratic, but Trump dominating support among this group has increased from 30% in 2020 to 37% now. Harris’s support stands at 51%, down from Biden’s 54% four years ago. However, these numbers carry a margin of error of 2 to 6 percentage points.

Trump dominating Latino voter gains like this is not something the Harris campaign was expecting.
