On December 20th, 2019, President Donald Trump signed the National Defense Authorization Act into law for the fiscal year of 2020, including legislative provisions for the implementation of the 6th armed service branch of the U.S. Military. On this date, the United States Space Force was established.
Months before the creation of the Space Force, Trump mentioned the idea of a Space Force to reporters and military personnel while visiting Miramar Air Station in San Diego, CA. Trump was then relentlessly mocked and ridiculed for such an idea by left-wing media outlets and the Marxist propaganda spewing late-night “comedy” shows. Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah, Jimmy Fallon, and Seth Meyers all sounded off with eerily similar jokes with their coastal elite progressive audience members clapping and barking like seals in unison.
Woke propaganda mega-machine, Netflix, produced a tongue-in-cheek “comedy” series called “Space Force” poking fun at their interpretation of the disillusioned notion of a U.S. Space Force.
Well as it turns out, Trump didn’t start the Space Force for his egotistical enjoyment like a spoiled kid on Christmas morning as the media portrayed. Trump and his advisors were dead right on the creation of a new branch of the military separate from but under the umbrella of the U.S. Air Force, dedicated to keeping the U.S. safe in outer space.
Since 2018, Russia has doubled, and China has tripled the number of its intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) satellites in orbit. Both superpowers have also been testing anti-satellite weapons.
China’s military modernization isn’t slowing down.

On April 9th, 2024, U.S. Space Force General Stephen Whiting spoke at the 39th Space Symposium and delivered shocking information: “China has built a kill web over the Pacific Ocean to find, fix, and, yes, target US and allied military capabilities”. Whiting also said that Beijing’s efforts regarding weaponizing its capabilities in space were moving at “breathtaking speed”.
The General also spoke to the threat of Russian and Chinese space weapons and added, they “hold at risk our modern way of life and how we defend this nation, and we must be able to deter and counter these threats when called upon to achieve space superiority”. Whiting further added a possible conflict in space involving weapons could be “economically and environmentally devastating, perhaps for decades”.
So that’s not great.
It is very reassuring that a cisgendered, non-pervert Space Force officer is sharing this information. That alone should lead us to believe that someone is focused on the unpredictable situation in space. Our military needs to reprioritize protecting the homeland from threats in any clime and place, space included, and give the whole “white rage” thing a break.
