In Australia, there is an Assyrian Orthodox Bishop, Mar Mari Emmanuel, who broadcasts sermons to the world live, from Christ the Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley, Australia. Bishop Emmanuel is beloved worldwide and has quite the following on YouTube (‘Christ the Good Shepherd Church,’ at 225k subscribers and 1.5k videos). And no wonder, Bishop Emmanuel is very outspoken in his criticisms of Islam, Muhammed, Transgender Ideology, and all of the woes of the modern world. This kind of talk usually pisses Trans-people, Muslims, and various other sorts of individuals, off. A lot. So much so, that the usually peace-loving Muslims, inclusive trans-people, and live-laugh-love people of all sorts will come knocking.
On Monday, April 15th, 2024, during a live web broadcast of his sermon, a young uh… “teen” was seen, live on the feed, walking up to the ambo (an Orthodox pulpit) that Bishop Emmanuel was preaching from. He approaches the ambo, pulls out a knife, and begins attacking Bishop Emmanuel. But it’s not quite that simple. The knife was a switchblade of some sort. When the unnamed “teen” went to strike the Bishop, the Bishop held up a Cross; the man was being attacked and the first thing he did was hold up the Cross. The switchblade failed to deploy correctly, becoming a sharp but not deadly weapon, and the “teen” then ostensibly was only mostly punching the Man of God, Bishop Emmanuel. Right in the face. The Bishop and another priest incurred injuries, some of them cuts or stab wounds. As did the attacker.
Not two seconds after the “teen” began his onslaught, a lot of men rushed the attacker and removed him from the Bishop. Allegedly they also cut his fingers off.
The Guardian reports on the “teen” thusly:
“In a video reportedly filmed in the wake of the alleged attack, the alleged attacker could be heard saying in Arabic: “If he [the bishop] didn’t get himself involved in my religion, if he hadn’t spoken about my prophet, I wouldn’t have come here … if he just spoke about his own religion, I wouldn’t have come.”
Jamal Rifi, a well-known doctor in Sydney’s west who has been speaking to media on behalf of the teenager’s family, said the teen struggled with anger management and had gone from a “gentle boy into someone who’s aggressive and lashing out”.
A local Muslim leader said that the “teen” did not show signs of radicalization. Traveling 90 minutes to stab someone in the face, clearly does not show intent to murder, and claiming it was done because of the Bishop talking about “his prophet” obviously isn’t radicalization. That’s just silly. The “boy” was charged with terrorism, so Australia isn’t completely lost, I suppose.
Anyway, the video of the attack went viral, almost immediately, and after the attack, there was a riot outside the Church. Completely normal.
Karen Webb, the Police Commissioner for New South Wales Police Force, in a press conference, spoke of the incident, the charges, and the “16-year-old boy” for about two minutes during a presser. She then went on to talk about “misinformation on social media” about the attack, saying that people “should not share that information.” Instead, the public should rely on the police for relevant information.
The Aussie PM, Anthony Albanese, took to the stage, telling Elon Musk (owner of X) to take down posts about the attack, and posts that promulgated videos of the attack.
In essence, the Police Commissioner and the Aussie PM wanted to control the information. Or, more succinctly, the narrative. Elon told them, in no uncertain terms, “No.”
Australia orders Elon Musk’s X to block video of attempted stabbing of Bishop Mar Mari by Arab teen, saying it will cause “irreparable harm” if it continues to circulate.

Why would the Globalist-Oriented Aussie government want to control the narrative on a totally-not-radicalized-Muslim-youth attacking a Christian Bishop? Well, obviously because there’s totally not a war on Christians right now. And there also isn’t a system of injustice that lets attackers go, if they attack white or Christian people. It’s solely to combat misinformation. That’s it. Just like during COVID. They’re trying to keep you safe. Misinformation is “dangerous to our democracy.”
Bishop Emmanuel, true to form, came out after the attack, and spoke of Jesus and Love, and that he forgave his assailant. He went on about how Jesus would not command us to fight. And rightly so. I agree with that. We should not fight, physically. I don’t think that anyone should be physically attacking Muslims over this. The “teen” should have a fair trial, though I mean fair both to him and to the Bishop, and fair to the truth and evidence.
You can criticize Christianity all day long and nothing happens, but the minute you criticize Islam you’re getting stabbed/beaten in the face. Not only that but if you speak out against anti-Christian hate police and a “mental health professional” should the police show up at your doorstep? Why is this?
There is a bias. That’s why. If you’re white or Christian, you’re the bad guy. It’s not Jews, indiscriminately bombing civilians in Gaza. It’s not Muslims, indiscriminately killing innocent people at a dance festival or stabbing Bishops in the face. It’s not Neo-Nazi Ukrainian paramilitary organizations. It’s not Russian land grabbing. It’s not a specific minority of people in the US that account for over half the amount of violent crime. They’re not the problem. It’s you. With your 2.5 kids, steady job, and loving family. That is the problem. You’re stable. And in a world where the powers that be thrive on exploiting fear and instability, your faith, your family, and your stability are the greatest threats they face.
Don’t attack people because they are Muslims. Truly that is evil, and vengeance is the Lord’s. However, I do not think that we should let people run roughshod over us. Stand up for your faith by being vigilant, speaking the truth, and not being an easy target.
“…forgive those who trespass against us…”
