As a father of three children, one of my priorities in life has been to protect my kids and keep them safe. I have a primal want to provide my kids with a safe place to stay, food to eat, and to give them an environment where they can grow up to become well-adjusted adults who can succeed in this crazy world we live in. The heartbreaking thing is every adult is not like me; and children being abused for the sake of money, a leftist agenda, or because of an abuse of power is progressing at an alarming rate.
In May 2023, the Connecticut House of Representatives passed H.B. 6638 which expanded the definition of ‘discrimination’ about sexual orientation to include pedophiles, or the less discriminatory term according to the left: “MAPs” (minor-attracted persons). You are not allowed to discriminate against any adult man or woman who has the most perverse thoughts about children imaginable. Maybe even worse than that, when the alarm bells started to go off for the families living in these communities, the appointed officials and supporters of the bill dug their heels in by stating, “It modernizes the existing definition of sexual orientation, moving away from thirty-year-old outdated and offensive terminology…the associated behavior would remain criminal because the bill would not legalize those crimes.” This is taking something very illegal and very grotesque and lumping it in with things that are defined as “identities” or “sexual-orientation”. This bill allows for the people living in the community that “identify” as pedophiles to not be discriminated against. If we are reshaping what a pedophile is and calling it an identity, then they can be open about it and still be hired at places like schools, hospitals, libraries, hell they might even be able to gain employment at a childcare center. So regardless of the bill’s relation to legalizing pedophilia, the left is actively putting our children at risk. Disgusting.
The unfortunate truth is that this has been a long time in the making. Way back in 1999, the American Psychology Association (APA), an allegedly trusted and scientific American organization, published a study that declared sex between adults and children may not be as bad as we once thought and may be beneficial for some children if they are “willing”. A once-trusted organization that publishes the official literature healthcare professionals use to classify psychiatric disorders (known as the DSM-5), claimed that adults having sex with minors could be beneficial for the said minor. The APA later doubled down on their “tolerant ideas” in 2013 and published the updated DSM-5 which once again suggested that pedophilia can be tied to an identity disorder and used the term “adult-child sex” instead of “child sex abuse”. Now, the APA has since backpedaled and released statements regarding the study and the DSM-5 regarding their harsh stance on pedophilia is wrong.
These idiots dared to release that garbage to the world in the first place, are we going to be made to believe that is not what or how they think?
Probably one of the most extravagant and shocking scenes of the normalization of something so grotesque comes in the form of the Hollywood elite. There have been many child actors who have come forward to expose the sick minds of Hollywood like Corey Feldman, who says that the worst thing about Hollywood today is weaponized pedophilia. There are a few good people in entertainment exposing the sickness that drives these multi-billion dollar production agencies, most notably (and hilariously) Ricky Gervais hosting the 2020 Golden Globes who seemed to throw many of these allegations right into the face of the enemy.
Even still, no one with any power seems to bat an eye to this issue. Is it just the simple fact that money talks and enough money shuts everyone up including the victims? Maybe. It is time that we start to protect our children from the elite sickos that think they own some sort of power. The normalization of pedophilia is a reality we must confront, and to combat it, we need to take hold of our backbone and do everything we can to ensure the children that may someday run this country will do so with the truth and morals and not lies and false virtue.
