Iranian Drones Target Southern Israel
Tira, Nov 2 (The Real Republic) – The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is escalating again, with renewed strikes from Iran intensifying the situation. On the night of November 1-2, several Iranian drones targeted southern Israel.
In addition to these attacks, a similar incident occurred in Tira, central Israel, resulting in at least nineteen injuries, according to local authorities. The city of Eilat, located on the Red Sea coast, was also struck by Iranian drones early this morning.

The “Islamic Resistance in Iraq,” a coalition of pro-Iranian armed groups, claimed responsibility for these assaults. They issued a statement declaring, “The Islamic resistance in Iraq attacked four vital targets in Eilat through four separate operations within one hour, utilizing multiple drones.”
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that they successfully intercepted several drones earlier today. In a post on social media platform X, they noted, “Not long ago, three drones launched from the east were intercepted over the Red Sea. The devices were neutralized before they could enter Israeli territory, so no alarm was triggered.”

The IDF remains vigilant, as drone attacks on Israel have been a recurring theme in recent weeks, attributed to pro-Iranian groups based in Iraq. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has openly stated his intention to respond to any aggression from Israel or the United States, asserting in a speech to students in Tehran, “The enemies, both the United States and the Zionist regime, should understand that they will certainly face a severe response for their actions against Iran, the Iranian nation, and the resistance front.”

Israeli authorities reported that four individuals sustained moderate injuries, while fifteen others were treated for minor injuries. Additionally, the military indicated on Telegram that they detected three projectiles launched from Lebanon towards central Israel.
