In a televised address, Hezbollah deputy leader Naim Qassem voiced support for a truce and did not reiterate previous demands for a ceasefire in Gaza as a precondition. He acknowledged the role of Nabih Berri, a Hezbollah ally, in seeking to halt hostilities. Despite setbacks, Qassem asserted Hezbollah’s military capabilities remain intact.
