Despite nearing the end of its term, the Biden administration continues its fanatical support for Ukraine, announcing another $725 million in military assistance. The Associated Press reports it remains unclear whether the HIMARS munitions include the highly sought-after Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS), which Ukraine has been requesting to expand its ability to strike targets within Russia. However, the aid does include anti-personnel landmines intended to bolster Ukraine’s defenses against Russian and North Korean ground forces in the Kursk region of Russia.
President Joe Biden has committed to utilizing all the military assistance funds “authorized” by Congress for Ukraine before his administration concludes on January 20. This includes approximately $7.1 billion in weapons from Pentagon stockpiles prior to Monday’s announcement.
