In South Korea, officials announced they would monitor any signs of increased North Korean involvement in Russia. This comes amidst heightened political tensions between North and South Korea, including the destruction of infrastructure connecting the two countries.

The Kremlin denied the allegations of North Korean troop deployments, labeling them as a Ukrainian “information hoax.” Nonetheless, Ukrainian officials stated that North Korean engineers have been sent to Russia to assess the performance of missiles supplied to Moscow.
