Israeli human rights organizations call on the two sides, with the help of the US, to agree upon a hostage release deal.
US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, is in Egypt currently working on an agreement between Israel and Hamas to release the hostages and to promote a cease-fire. The hostages have been held in Palestine since the war began after the October 7th attack in Northern Israel, leaving more than 1,200 people dead.
