Montreal is Destroyed by Pro-Palestinian Rioters
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau faced criticism for attending a Taylor Swift concert in Toronto while violent pro-Palestinian protests unfolded in Montreal, his parliamentary constituency. Trudeau, who represents the Papineau riding in Montreal, was approximately 330 miles away as protests in his hometown escalated into riots.
Who joins the millions of citizens of Canada that are now demanding the immediate resignation of Trudeau resulting from the violence and despicable antisemitic attacks in Montreal?

Nasty Protests
- Protesters opposing NATO and Israel marched through downtown Montreal, setting off smoke bombs, burning effigies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and causing property damage to buildings and cars.
- Demonstrators carried pro-Palestinian flags and banners while holding anti-capitalist messages. The riot was reportedly organized by Divest for Palestine and the Convergence of Anti-Capitalist Struggles.
- Montreal police arrested three individuals for interfering with law enforcement. According to police spokesperson Véronique Dubuc, one civilian and several officers sustained minor injuries. Protesters claimed that nearly six individuals required medical attention after alleged police actions.

Trudeau Shouldn't be Bothered
A viral video showed Trudeau dancing to Taylor Swift’s song “You Don’t Own Me” at the concert, sparking backlash from political opponents and the public.
Don Stewart, a Member of Parliament from Toronto, criticized Trudeau’s priorities, writing on X, “Lawless protesters run roughshod over Montreal in violent protest. The Prime Minister dances. This is the Canada built by the Liberal government. Bring back law and order, safe streets, and communities.”
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre accused Trudeau of failing to address public safety and allowing “a violent Hamas takeover of our streets.” He also alleged that Trudeau’s government has turned Canada into “a playground for foreign interference.”
Quebec Premier François Legault condemned the violence in Montreal, stating, “Burning cars and smashing windows is not about sending a message; it’s about causing chaos. Such acts have no place in a peaceful society like Quebec.”
Predictably, Trudeau took to social media stating, “Acts of antisemitism, intimidation, and violence must be condemned wherever we see them. There must be consequences, and rioters held accountable.”
He has yet to directly address any criticism and will probably ignore it.
